Work will begin on the I43 overpasses over STH 33 this week. This project will run concurrently with the STH 33 project with coordination between the two. The work will include removing and replacing the decks of both structures with wider ones. Both northbound and southbound ramps will be kept operational other than the planned closures as part of the STH 33 project. There will be two separate planned overnight closures of STH 33 to facilitate the demolition work. Those dates will be posted when the schedules are known. The interstate will remain open throughout the project.

Regarding the STH 33 project, the contractor will be working on pavement removal and grading in the Village. The storm sewer crews are planned to return the first week of April, the curbing crews the week of April 16, and the paving crew the first week of May. Due to the time of year and potential for wet spring weather, these schedules are tenuous.
