Community Development Authority

GENERAL INFORMATION

PURPOSE

 The purpose of the Community Development Authority is to assist the Common Council of the City of Port Washington, local businesses, and private developers in the rehabilitation of blighted and deteriorated properties, and the reuse of abandoned or unused commercial and industrial sites.  It also has all the powers, duties, and functions of housing authority and may initiate housing projects approved by the Common Council.  The Community Development is constituted, organized, and operates in strict accordance with all provisions of Section 66.4325, Wisconsin Statutes.
