"These maps represent portions of the
historic border agreement reached between the City and Town of Port
Washington. The compromise agreement, which exists through 2025 between
to two communities, ended years of litigation and may serve as a model for
other communities. The first map indicates areas where the City may annex
lands if requested by the landowner. The second map depicts that area
known as Knellsville, an area that the City will extend sewer and water
to. The final map shows the areas where the City and Town will jointly
