Ross - Bill's
involvement with PST began a few years ago when he coached the
voice parts and played on the the keyboard parts for the
production of GODSPELL. With a few summers off here and
there, he has generally coached voice parts for most of the
productions since that summer. There were a couple of
productions when Bill directed the pit band in addition to his
working with the singers. This fall Bill begins life without
high school students in that he has recently retired after 36
years of directing high school choirs. He will devote time
to the Marquette University Chorus, Chamber Choir and Vocal Jazz
Ensemble as well as teach a class in Music Appreciation.
Bill will remain active with the Wisconsin Choral Directors
Association and The Wisconsin Music Association. Hey you
high school singers, you might get me for a judge at contest some
year!!! And, in case anyone still was wondering, Bill is not
Jerry Olson's son. ENJOY!
