  Josh Haake (Orchestra Director) - I have been a cast member in "South Pacific", "Dino", and "Antigone" (Apollo High School, St. Cloud, MN), and have participated in summer theater Productions of "The Secret Garden", and "Children of Eden" (Sauk Rapids, MN). I have played trumpet in the pit for various Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas, as well as the Musical "Moby Dick". Since moving to this area I have had the pleasure to conduct the Port Washington High School Pit Orchestra for "Cinderella", "The Pajama Game", "Bye, Bye, Birdie", and "Peter Pan". In addition, I have had the great pleasure of conducting the greatest comunity pit orchestra in the world for "The Sound of Music" and "Oklahoma!" What do you do during the daytime?: "I will be resuming my post for the fifth year this fall as the High School Band Director for the Port Washington-Saukville School district. I am fortunate to love what I do, and more importantly, to work with some of the most motivated and wonderful students I have ever met". Anything Else?: "I am enjoying my fourth year of marriage with my wife, who is currently working on four years of Aesthesiology Residency (she is the brains in the relationship). In my spare time I like to woodwork, paint, and compose music". |
