Melissa has 16 years of
dance and music experience. Her theater experience includes Lakeshore Production
of Annie, The Moscow Ballet’s "Nutcracker", Port High musicals
Bye-Bye Birdie,
Peter Pan, Christmas Carol and Beauty and the Beast. She is also a member of PWHS women’s vocal jazz and concert choir. Melissa has won many national dance
awards including most recently the 2007 Dancer of the Year by the American Dance
awards, 2008 Miss StarQuest National Dance Award and 2008 Performance Artist
National Singing Award. Melissa has appeared on TV on ESPN2 and Oxygen
performance "Dancer of the Year" from 2000 to 2004 for CoDance. Melissa’s
choreography experience includes pieces from "The Nutcracker" and competition
team from Lake Shore Dance and she won choreography awards for her solos and
small group dances from Impact Performing Art Center. Melissa will be attending Marymount Manhattan College in New York City majoring in Theater Arts and
Musical Theater. |
